Out Now! Moxxi's Heist of The Handsome Jackpot

Posted: Dec 19 2019

Moxxi's Heist of The Handsome Jackpot, the first campaign add-on for Borderlands 3, is now available on PC, PlayStation®4, and Xbox One.

Are you feeling lucky? A way into The Handsome Jackpot has been found, and after seven years on lockdown this once-opulent, now-derelict space station casino is a must-visit for Vault Hunters in search of new adventures, new enemies, and of course, new loot. Moxxi has asked for your help in seizing control of The Handsome Jackpot as the ultimate act of revenge against her villainous ex Handsome Jack. He's long-dead at this point, but you better believe that the former Hyperion Corporation president still makes his presence felt and isn't going to give up his eponymous casino without a fight. In order to get past the casino's ample defenses, like an army of Loader Bots and tons of deadly turrets, Moxxi's recruiting a team of highly skilled oddballs—yourself included—to take over The Handsome Jackpot from the inside.

Moxxi's Heist of The Handsome Jackpot is the first of four paid campaign add-ons that are included with the Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition and Season Pass. It's also available to purchase separately though you will, of course, need to own a copy of Borderlands 3 to play it. In order to reach The Handsome Jackpot, you'll also need to have gained access to the good ship Sanctuary III by completing Episode 5 of Borderlands 3's main story missions. The first Moxxi's Heist of The Handsome Jackpot mission is initiated by interacting with a Handsome Jackpot poster that appears outside Moxxxi's bar aboard Sanctuary III. Just look out for the yellow exclamation mark indicating that there is a new mission nearby.

In case you're wondering what to pack for your trip to The Handsome Jackpot, know that you'll need in-game money to open the doors to VIP areas, there's no dress code, and Corrosive weapons are recommended. Enjoy your stay!
